Finally, finally, finally, finally, finally
So after a week and a half of not doing a whole log of moving I finally got past the 50 lbs lost mark. Today when I did a weigh it showed that I had lost 1.3 lbs which is also the biggest single loss I have had in a while. It is amazing how quickly you can get motivated again to really start kicking some butt. I still don't think that I am going to get to my end of March goal but I think I can get pretty close. I am still 5 lbs away from being where I want at the end of the month. I still have two classes to teach this week and running around the labs normally has a pretty good impact on my weight loss as well. Looks like we have plans to go to the zoo on Saturday morning as long as those don't fall through then that will be a good bit of walking. Now that I am re-energized to keep moving forward I am staying committed to working out 5 times a week so I will be waking up early of Friday to do my custom upper body workout since working out before or after the zoo on Saturday is most likely not going to happen. On a happy note my wife has been doing great on her weight loss as well. She did her daily weigh in on WiiFit and the sliding scale put her BMI in the normal range, I am both very proud of her and super jealous. I am still in the "Obese" with 15 lbs to go before I even get into the overweight. I don't know that I will ever be in the normal only because it says that I need to be 145 lbs (Something I have not been since I was in middle school) When I was at the best weight in my life a bunch of years ago I was still 20 lbs higher than that so I don't think that 145 is even going to be on my radar but the 165 surely is. I guess we just have to wait and see how my weigh-ins go for the rest of the month and see how close I can get to my end of March goal.
