Hard workout, good start to the week
Today I got up nice and early and took care of my upper body workout that I have been looking forward to since I set it this weekend. I added weights to my workout on the chest exercises, shoulder exercises, and the high points on my biceps. I did not get through all of the reps for a few of the sets on each of the exercises today but that is to be expected. I know that yesterday I was talking about trying to move up my weights one more time before I finish and I am still going to shoot for that goal but it is going to take a lot of hard work on my part to make that happen. I am not afraid of that I just know it to be true and getting it down here on the blog will help me to read that and remember it. I am going to be adding weight to my pull downs for my back exercise and will most likely be adding more weight to my triceps and 1-Arm rows for next Wednesday's upper body workout. I guess you will just have to come by next Wednesday and read the blog to find out how it went. I made a mistake looking at the body for life calendar and it turns out that the final free day of my 12 week program is on Christmas day. I can't think of a better way to celebrate completing the 12 week program than celebrating Christmas with my family. I have to say that I love looking down at my calendar and seeing there are only three Monday's left after today. Tomorrow is my bible study which I enjoy quite a bit each Tuesday and I will be shooting for my 30 minute run at 7 MPH, I don't think I should have any trouble doing it since it should only be a few more minutes longer than my 3.25 mile run yesterday. The only thing that might make it harder is my hamstrings are a little sore from pushing my running so hard the last few times but hey if I want that 16% body fat number to go down I am going to have to push harder on both my cardio and my weight training these last 4 weeks of the challenge. Until next time.
