Second week going well so far
Day two of my second week and so far it is going well. After yesterdays lower body workout my legs are feeling much better, I have a little bit of soreness but nothing like I had last week and today I was able to do my 20 minute run around the neighborhood without any issue. In the 20 minutes I went about 2 miles so the pace was OK. I think I lost a minute somewhere again but that is OK I came pretty close to hitting my high point at the end of the run and when I was finished I was huffing pretty good and was sweating pretty hard. The only note I gave myself was to run a little faster at each of the minutes to get an even better workout next time. Thursday is the next 20 minute cardio and right now I am planning to get it done on the treadmill here at work but you never know that might change depending on how the rest of the week goes. I have all my meals planned out and prepped this week so I am ready to go on that. I have to take a minute to thank my wife for being kind enough to help me out to get it knocked out in a pretty short amount of time. I always feel better after my meals are planned out and prepped for the week, it give me a little comfort that I will stick to the 6 meals a day through the entire work week. Tomorrow is my next upper body workout and I am looking forward to it and hope that I get a little bit of soreness going when I am done, I want to make sure I am building the muscle that I am trying to get. Last night I decided it was time to start to step up the intensity and push myself a little further out of my comfort zone so tomorrow will most likely be the last upper body workout using the weight I have been using and come Monday I am planning to add a little more weight to push that intensity up further. Keep a look out for how tomorrow went and how the rest of my week goes as I push myself harder .
