Yep time to add more weight
So I got my upper body workout in this morning, I have been looking forward to the workout since last week so when it came I got right out of bed and headed to the rec center since I have a client visit this morning. I didn't hit any of my high points this morning which is a good and bad thing. The good thing is it is time to add more weight to the exercises, the bad thing is I didn't get the best workout I could. What I look forward to is adding the extra weight and comparing the weight I started with to the weight I end with at the end of this month. It is nice to have the rec center as an option for mornings like this where I have to be somewhere, it saves me from having to miss my workout or try to fit it in at lunch. I made a mistake today and left my binder at the house when I rushed out the door since I was so behind but it was not all that big a deal since my wife was good enough to text me my meal for the day. One of the most satisfying moments each morning for me is putting the X through the next day when I finish my workout and now I am already half way through the second week, before I know it the 12 weeks will be over and it will be the holidays. Tomorrow morning begins my new intensity push. As long as nothing unexpected comes up I am going to go to the little workout area here at the office and use the treadmill for my 20 minute run so I don't have to worry about running up and down hills and I can focus on adding the intensity by adding the speed. The last time I did the cardio on a treadmill (several years ago) I thought I was going to pass out when I was finished. I am in a lot better shape now than I was then so I don't think it will be that bad but I do hope it is intense. Keep an eye out for tomorrow to find out.
