Almost made it to the goal
I woke up this morning and went on my 20 minute cardio run before getting ready and heading off to bible study. I told myself that I was going to push a little harder today and try and make it around my block 4 times in the twenty minutes which would be right around 2 miles. I did a pretty good job of it and only fell short by about 10 feet or so. Depending on how the legs feel Thursday after tomorrow's lower body workout I am going to push myself even harder to make it that last 10 feet. I am feeling good this morning and can feel the muscles in the upper part of my body rebuilding after yesterday's workout, which makes me happy. Yesterday when I had a few minutes I compared the weight I was lifting and the number of reps I was able to do on my very first upper body workout compared to the one that I did yesterday and I am happy to say that on some of the exercises I am lifting more weight than I was on that first workout and on the exercises that I am not lifting more weight I am completing more reps so I can feel that I am getting stronger and am seeing my arms and shoulders getting more defined. I can't wait to see how tomorrow's workout goes since I will be doing just about every exercise with more weight than the last time I did them. I guess we will see.
