Not the cardio day I expected

So I got the 40 minutes  I was shooting for in this morning and ran almost 4 miles but I didn't do it the way that I wanted to. I was trying to go at 7 MPH for 30 of the 40 minutes but that didn't happen. When I work up this morning my legs were quite stiff and sore from yesterday's lower body workout. I ended up going 6.5 MPH for some of the run and 6 MPH for the rest of it. I am a little disappointed with myself for that but at the end of the day getting the exercise in is more important than reaching the goals every time you go out and try. I am feeling good this morning after the run and I have a lot of energy which is nice since I have a to do list for today of 14 items and that does not include anything that is going to come in while I am working on that list. I don't quite know I am going to get it all done  today but I will do my best since I am taking tomorrow off for my anniversary. I am also debating if I want to wake up in the morning before everyone else and get my upper body workout in then and do my planned split free day like I was going to do on Thanksgiving or if I just want to take the whole day off. I guess I will see how I feel in the morning and make the final decision. Well, I am going to try and get an early start to the day today so I can try and get it all done. Until next time.
