So it has been a little while
I have had one heck of a busy week between the two jobs, Easter, and family but one thing I am pretty happy about is I never missed a workout and I even did the fifth one I used to do on Saturday. I knew that this was Easter weekend and that I was going to be staying away from the diet due to all the great food that was being prepared. I didn't lose focus or fall off my entire plan just took a small side road. When I did my fifth workout of the week I did the custom upper body workout I created in EA Active 2 and did it with the 25 lb resistance band that I have rather than the 15 I use during the week. I was not able to get through the entire workout before having to go back to the red bands but I know where I stopped and will try to get past that point next time. If I can get through the upper body workout a few times with the black bands I will start to make the move toward using those all the time. As for my end of April goal, I had a great last few days of the week and lost 4 lbs in 3 days...but then came the weekend. The damage was not as bad as I expected it to be considering I did workout Saturday, mowed the lawn Saturday, and walked a mile Sunday but I still gained 2 lbs over the weekend. In my defense I did eat so much at lunch on Sunday that I was not hungry again until lunch today. That put me back up to 196 when I was at 194 so now I need to lose 6 lbs rather than 4 by Saturday morning if I want to hit my goal. I still think that I can do it but I am just going to have to work a bit harder to do it. Tomorrow I am starting my day from the house so I am going to try and workout for 1.5 hours rather than 45 minutes to an hour and will most likely not take a rest day on Wednesday and do some light WiiFit or perhaps go for a run around the block a few times to get the weight I gained back off. I am more motivated now than ever to get to the 190 goal since gaining the weight this weekend to show myself that I can fall off the wagon as hard as I did yesterday but still remain focused and get to my overall goal of 165.
